Sam Dunn holds an MFA in Theater-Film Studies from the University of Utah and BAs in History and Scandinavian Studies from UCLA.  He is the producer/director of films and documentaries, including SON OF JONAH and HAWKWATCH, among others.  He is the Live Events Technical Manager and an international features screener for the Sundance Film Festival as well as a past production Crew Chief and Assistant Production Manager for Sundance Institute’s Filmmakers Laboratory.  Since 1992, Dunn has taught numerous University of Utah courses on a wide range of subjects, including Film History, Introduction to Film, History of Film in Utah, Scandinavian Film, German Film, Film Reflexivity, and Film and the Arts.
