U-Asia F&MAD Film Festival!

This weekend, while we celebrate the F&MAD Film Festival here in Utah, our colleagues and fellow students on the U-Asia campus are celebrating their own edition of the festival. Catch the F&MAD Film Festival Asia virtually this weekend via virtual showings on Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2.

The University of Utah Asia Campus is part of the Incheon Global Campus in Incheon, South Korea. Students who study at the University of Utah Asia Campus receive a University of Utah degree, and study for three years with UofU faculty in South Korea, and one year on the Salt Lake City campus. The Film & Media Arts program is the U's largest program on the U-Asia campus.

Organized by U-Asia faculty Alysia Fae Klein and Dustin Schwindt, this virtual festival will feature films produced by U-Asia students. University of Utah faculty, staff, and students on the main campus are eligible for free tickets, which you can register for here: All ticket holders will receive an official email with a special link to the live screening 24-48 hours prior to showtime.

Because the screening is live, festival organizers suggest viewers on the main campus register for the "October 2" festival pass, which will play on October 1st and 8:00pm MST. This screening will also feature the festival's award ceremony. You can view the lineup of films on the festival's official website:

Congratulations to the filmmakers and enjoy the festival!
