Welcome to the casting call for Shrike, a deeply emotional and intimate short film about love, identity, and the personal struggle to find one's true self.

Logline: A closeted young woman leaves home in hopes of winning back her ex-girlfriend.

We are currently seeking two talented and emotionally resonant actors to bring these characters to life:

Lilly (Female, 18-24): Warm and emotionally open, Lilly has been raised in a religiously conservative, rural environment. Torn between her upbringing and her love for Dylan, she’s quietly intense and vulnerable. This role requires an actor who can embody the internal conflict Lilly faces, capturing the vulnerability of someone who’s struggling to reconcile her love with her beliefs and upbringing.

Dylan (Female, 19-25): Creative, emotionally intelligent, and from a wealthy, progressive family. Dylan explores love and identity while navigating the challenge of independence. This role requires strong emotional depth and an open-hearted presence.
