Cinema Screenings

A focal point of the Department of Film & Media Arts' creative ecosystem is our state-of-the-art Cinema, projecting in 16mm, 35mm, and digital.  We host repertory movies, screen works by faculty and students, bring in media productions from across the state and country, sponsor a student-run Cinematheque, and foster an inclusive cinephile community by celebrating the global moving image on the big screen.

Films are presented as a gallery-style exhibition throughout the building, where guests can come and go freely and gather to talk about a provocative topic: Is AI animation theft, tribute, or something without precedent?
